Iranican Reports: Iranian Heritage Night with Steven Beitashour

Another Iranian Heritage Night was celebrated last month in honor of Steven Beitashour. We had interviewed Steven on Iranican Live’s latest radio show, and now reporting on the event, San Jose Earthquakes vs. Chicago Fire. Over 250 Iranians attended and the Earthquakes came back from a one-nill deficit to equalize the game at the 94th minute and keep the home crowd happy. Project Marrow, one of the sponsors of this event, received a portion of the proceeds from the tickets sold in the section of the stadium dedicated to Iranians, to raise awareness about the Marrow donation registry and the ease of becoming a donor to save lives.
As it is customary to any Iranian Heritage Night, a taste of Iran has to be present, and although on this night the stadium did not serve Zoolbia-Bamieh with Noon-Panir and  Chai at sunset, Niosha Dance Academy did perform on the soccer field for the 10,000 spectators at half time. We’re still waiting for Steven to make decision and officially announce which National Team he will join soon.
