About

IranicanTM is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization based in the Silicon Valley.
Our mission is to explore issues affecting “Generation Iranian-American” with different perspectives, while promoting unity through dialogue and tolerance.
Iranican came into being in 2005 as a lifestyle show on television, and was revamped in 2007 as a web-based organization. Its team experiments with info-taining visual and sound media in the effort to reach the younger Iranian community abroad. Currently, Iranican.com generates two feature programs:

Iranican Reports
Video segments featuring major cultural events and festivals in cities across the North American continent including Berkeley, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto. You can watch all Iranican Reports Here.

Iranican Live (Distributed by Radio Javan)
A radio talkshow that explores a host of cultural issues from various perspectives. Bound by no rules and no agenda, the IranicanLive on-air personalities can be heard bi-weekly on Radio Javan Wednesday nights at 7PM PST. You may also download the programs Here or on the Radio Javan Podcast page.

Iranican.com understands that in the modern era, culture is anything but static. That is why it strives for entertainment and education, while approaching communal issues with fresh perspectives that are not easily found elsewhere.
